A pestering problem of the poor countries of the Southern hemisphere is
the integration of children and teenagers with a physicial disability
into society. The Peru-Aid which especially looks after deaf-mute
children in the school CPAL (Centro peruano para audicion y lenguaje)
was asked to secure functional, used and new hearing aids to establish a
storage for children and teenagers whose parents are not able to pay a
hearing aid and therefore are disadvantaged:
- a) in the perception of their surroundings
- b) in their education in school or in kindergarten
