Highlights of the World Youth Day 2005 and of the Peru-Aid

What if...
...the Holy Pope John Paul II would not have invited the youth of the world
to the World Youth Day 2005 in Germany.

There would not have been the unique evidence of experience.

We were there...

...when in February 2005 the international sign of all World Youth Days,
the World Youth Day's cross, came to us on its 'journey around the world' which last over twenty years now.

With the cross we hit the road...

...to prepare ourselves for the 'days of encounter' with teenagers from all over the world and for the World Youth Day 2005.
A group of voluntary aides of the parishes took over the duty of planning and accomplishment.

• For the expected 120 foreign guests we organised lodgings.
• 'Our' native youth was sensitised for the matter.
• A possible course of events of the World Youth Day was planned.
• The Peru-Aid took a great part in it.

 Guests are a blessing...
